Indicator Names New CFO, Grants Stock Options

Vancouver, BC (April 2, 2008) -- Indicator Minerals Inc. ("IME" or "Indicator") announced today the appointment of Louis Blom, CA, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the company, effective immediately.

Mr. Blom, is a graduate in business from Thompson Rivers University (formerly University College of the Cariboo) of Kamloops, and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Mr. Blom's professional experience includes several years as an assurance manager with KPMG where he worked with a variety of junior mining companies. Mr. Blom also recently served as the CFO for Trigon Uranium Corp. in Kelowna, B.C. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Indicator's board of directors have granted 100,000 incentive stock options pursuant to the Indicator Minerals Inc. shareholder-approved stock option plan to Mr Blom, exercisable for up to five years at a price of $0.25 per share, the last closing price of the company's shares prior to the date of grant. The options granted will be subject to any applicable regulatory hold periods.
